Lake Washington Masters - a proud part of the Wave Aquatics organization - once again won PNA Champs this past weekend at the King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way! It was the first PNA (Masters' equivalent of PNS) Champs meet since 2019 due to Covid and LWM picked right back up where they left off, winning the title for the 7th straight time. Spring Fling Recap Wave sent nearly 70 swimmers to the Spring Fling meet, which included all the top teams in PNS and capped off the Short Course season for our Age Group swimmers. The 10&Unders were especially competitive since this was essentially their State Champs meet. Wave had yet another awesome performance, including 11 wins! Senior Sectionals Senior Epic had a phenomenal Senior Sectionals meet in Phoenix! We had eight swimmers this year with everyone achieving at least both one best time and one tan line at the meet! We swam eight relays (Girls and Boys: 200 Medley, 200 Free, 400 Free and 400 Medley Relays) and among amazing relay swims, many swimmers got best times leading off. Washington State Champs Recap What an exciting three days of racing to cap off the short course season for our 11-18-year-olds! IST Invitational Recap Happy St. Patrick's Day! What a fantastic way to end the season for so many on our team! February Wave Invitational Meet Recap We came into this meet with many swimmers looking to make cuts for the various championship meets in March. High School Boys Districts Recap Wave had 24 swimmers compete at Divisionals this past weekend. All put forth amazing effort and were close to their best times. A whole slew of our boys represented their high schools last weekend at the Kingco Championships. The boys have been training very hard since returning from the holiday break and it is starting to show in the their racing. The boys all competed very hard and many achieved new best times in their races or were right off of their best times.
