YMCA membership requirement: All divers must be full privilege members of the YMCA they represent for a minimum of 90 days prior to the start of the meet. This will be verified by the YMCA's CEO on the Declaration Form.

Attestations - Required for all Coaches, Athletes, Parents of Minor Athletes and Meet Volunteers

YMCA of the USA requires coaches, athletes, parents of athletes and meet volunteers to comply with child protection guidelines, and to sign and attest participation waivers. This process is completed electronically, with no paper processing.

Coaches share the links and instructions with their parents, adult athletes, other team coaches and their YMCA CEO or Executive Director so all requirements are met by Friday, May 3, 2024.

COACHES -

1. Share the links below with your team's coaches, athletes age 18 and older and parents of athletes under 18. Remember to share your YMCA's four digit association number with them. It is needed on each individual's form.

**Important Note** - Ask your athletes and parents to include your e-mail address and to share a copy of their completed form with you for your file. This will be helpful if there is a question of whether they submitted their signed form.

18&Older Athlete Protection Training Requirement

In accordance with the Federal Safe Sport Law, the U.S. Center for SafeSport and the YMCA of the USA, all Adult Athletes (age 18 and older) are required to complete Athlete Protection Training every 12 months, the same as coaches and volunteers. For divers who are members of USA Diving, your required training through USA Diving/U.S. Center for SafeSport satisfies this requirement. For divers who are not USA Diving members, please see the following options.

The Praesidium learning path is free, using the code found in the Quick Start Guide linked below. Be sure to select the YUSA Competitive Sports certificate to download when you have completed the learning path.

Coach Authorization Form - This form is required for YMCAs with divers competing in the meet, but no coach attending.

Submitting Insurance

Each YMCA represented in the meet must have a current Certificate of Liability Insurance filed with YMCA of the USA. See SAMPLE that includes the exact wording required. New this year: The COI is filed by your YMCA's MOYP Administrator or CEO in the Data Collection Hub. This is the same place they submit your YMCA's annual report. If they do not see the COI Submission portal, they just need to go into MOYP and edit role assignments then access the COI Submission as association data steward. Send questions to Meredith Griffin.
