Fantastic results for our Warriors who made their way to Gravenhurst's Gull Lake early Saturday morning (July 16) to compete in the 2022 Ontario Open Water Championships. This is the first ever open water meet for most, if not all, our swimmers. Waterloo Region was well-represented at the 2022 Summer Ontario Swimming Championships (July 7-10) as eleven talented 14 to 16-year-old swimmers from Club Warriors travelled to the Toronto Pan Am Sports Complex to compete among the best age-group swimmers in the province. The mid-July weekend was a busy one for Club Warriors with two provincial championship meets taking place at opposite ends of the GTA. From July 16-19, twelve Junior Elite/Elite swimmers headed to Markham for the Ontario Youth-Juniors (OYJ). The weather cooperated beautifully to make for a smooth ride to Windsor for 31 CW Swimmers attending the three-day 2022 Western Region Long Course Championship at WIATC. Many swimmers came away with personal bests; what an achievement to take time off after having just swam at meets 2 weeks ago. May 19-23, 2022 Club Warriors travelled to Montreal for a 3-day competition.
