From Coach Brad: Heading into this meet, I said to everyone that we had the opportunity to be the best team at this meet – the best team being the one that is the most supportive, the tightest-knit group, the one where every swimmer is transcending their own personal limits to achieve more as a team than they are capable of as individuals. I think it is safe to say that we accomplished this goal at the Junior Olympics meet. Our team swam incredibly well in every group, resulting in...

Vaca Wave Swimmers and Families - Junior Olympics was a huge success for our team! From Coach Brad: After being gone for two weeks, I was excited to return to the pool to see our swimmers competing in the Summer Sanders Meet. This has blossomed into one of the premiere age group trials & finals meets in our area, and draws over 1000 swimmers each year! This meet has a long and proud tradition of fast swimming, which includes multiple Olympic Trials cuts made by Sierra Nevada, Pacific, and other LSC swimmers. To see our Vaca Waves go up against this type of competition is...

Tiger Tail Meet Coming hot off of a great performance at the high school sections meet and post-sections meet at Davis, the Senior Elite group had to quickly shift gears and prepare themselves for long course racing as we headed down to the Tiger Tail meet at University of the Pacific in Stockton. This was yet another great opportunity for the Elite group to visit a college campus and see a collegiate aquatics center, while also gaining great experience racing outside of our LSC against some very strong swimmers from...

CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Meet The CIF Sac-Joaquin Section meet is the culmination of the high school swim season. It brings together hundreds of swimmers from the Northern California area in one of the fastest swim meets that our area hosts. SASO Long Course Meet From Coach Brad: Coming off of a short taper for our trials and finals meet, it was a quick turn around for the Senior Elite group to come back and race at the SASO meet. Transitioning to long course was also a bit of a challenge. However, the swimmers rose to the occasion and raced very well. Many of the swimmers were able to drop significant amounts from their times from last summer, which is a great testament to the amount of work they have put...
