The FAST Manatees is a summer youth recreation league offered by Florida Aquatics Swimming & Training. We offer high quality coaching and technical instruction for swimmers with the goal of developing swimming skills, promoting individual improvement, providing an enjoyable experience, developing good sportsmanship, and most importantly HAVING FUN!

Here are a few key points about the Manatees:

* All swim practices and swim meets take place in Ocala at Florida Aquatics Swimming & Training- 4635 SW 67th Avenue Road, Ocala, Florida 34474.

* All swimmers are eligible to participate in our fun low-intensity swim meets.

* Participants do not have to be expert swimmers. You just need to be able to swim across the pool (25 yards) without assistance.

* While the program is offered for children ages 6-17, practices and competitions will be divided into the following age groups: 8 & under, 9-11, 12 & over.

* Our swim meets cannot exist without parent volunteers. Please consider supporting the team and your swimmer by volunteering at swim meets. All training will be provided.

*At the end of the season, all Manatee swimmers are eligible to join the FAST Falcons Swim Team and will receive one free week in June. No additional evaluation is needed. Falcons Coaches will place the swimmer in the proper practice group.
