Senior II & III

 

Group is for athletes 14 & up. These athletes are committed to 7-9 practices per week. Athletes really enjoy participating in all aspects of training and competition. They are driven, goal oriented, tend to be universally excellent students and frequently obsessed with achievement and perfection - and they like to have fun. Dryland and strength training will also be incorporated into their practice schedules.


PRACTICE DAYS

Monday - Friday and Saturday (including morning practices)


 

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SENIOR II

Comfortable making 10 x 100 freestyle on 1:15, 10 x 100 IM on 1:25, and 10 x 100 freestyle kick with board on 1:40.

90% Attendance required (swimmers at this level must be able to balance academics and swimming if they intend to swim in college).

Swimmers should be comfortable racing in all events (all distances and strokes). 

 

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SENIOR III 

Comfortable making 10 x 100 freestyle on 1:10, 10 x 100 IM on 1:20, and 10 x 100 freestyle kick with board on 1:35.

95% Attendance required (swimmers at this level must be able to balance academics and swimming if they intend to swim in college).

Swimmers should be comfortable racing in all events (all distances and strokes). 

 

PRACTICE OBJECTIVES

The suggested age for this group is 14 years old and older. This group is designed for swimmers who are highly motivated and committed to swimming at the highest possible level. All swimmers moving to this group must be approved by Head Coach.
