FALCONS Senior III and Senior II GROUPs

Group is for athletes 14 & up.  These athletes are committed to 7-9 practices per week.   Athletes really enjoy participating in all aspects of training and competition.  They are driven, goal oriented, tend to be universally excellent students and frequently obsessed with achievement and perfection - and they like to have fun.  Dryland and strength training will also be incorporated into their practice schedules.

Upcoming Practice Changes

  • Monday, November 28th- AM practice will be from 6:00- 6:45 AM for those not swimming on Sunday (Nov 27th). No morning workouts for the remainder of the week.
  • No morning workouts for the week of December 5th.
  • We will have a stroke clinic with guest coach Kim Brackin on December 5th from 4:15- 5:45 PM.
  • The outdoor pool will switch to LCM on December 5th.

PRACTICE OBJECTIVES

The suggested age for this group is 14 years old and older or a freshman in high school. This group is designed for swimmers who are highly motivated and committed to 7-9 practices per week. In addition, swimmers will participate in dryland & a weight training program as part of their competitive conditioning. All swimmers moving to this group must be approved by Head Coach. EQUIPMENT REQUIRED

Falcons team cap at practice during the week. Saturdays are reserved for caps of the athletes' choice. Well-fitting suit (such as jammers for boys and 1-piece for girls), cap, goggles, silicone fins, paddles, snorkel, full water bottle and mesh bag.
