Junior 3

Age Group: Intermediate swimmers ages 9–12

Overview: Junior 3 builds on the foundation from Junior 2 (Bronze) and is designed for swimmers with a solid grasp of all four strokes. Practices include longer sets, focused technical instruction, and race-strategy skill work. Ideal for athletes aiming to improve performance and consistency.

Practice Schedule:

  • Tuesday-Friday: 6:15–7:30 pm (6:15–6:30 dryland • 6:30–7:30 swim)

  • Sunday: 10:00–11:00 am (pool session)

  • Team suit

  • Goggles

  • Swim cap

  • Fins

  • Pull buoy

Goals:

  • Increase aerobic capacity and endurance

  • Refine stroke mechanics with targeted drills and coach feedback

  • Develop pacing, turns/starts, and race strategies

  • Build consistent training habits and meet readiness
