Social Events are Beginning!

We’re starting to add some social events to our calendar.  As you think, “we already do the meets and practices…surely that’s enough, right?”  --No!  It is NOT.  Here’s why they’re important: In between 50s, in between sets…there’s not a ton of time for kids to get to know each other.  Add to that, many of our swimmers tend to be a little nervous at swim meets (or skip them altogether).  Plus, with 200+ swimmers separated over 9 different training groups, it can be tricky finding opportunities for swimmers to get to know each other.  The friendships made during the course of a swim career will help them navigate the sport and will last longer than you realize.  So yes, get them to these events!  Kids that find friends in the sport will come back way more than those that just go to practice & meets and go home.

This Saturday – Tsunami Group Rock Climbing
Friday, November 1st – UW Meet -- We’re going to the beautiful UW Nick pool to cheer on the Badgers as they take on those pesky Gophers.  UW is attempting to set a dual meet attendance record and there are lots of fun activities scheduled to capture the heart of swimmers. 
Saturday, November 9th – Bowling – Tentatively Scheduled, this event will be for swimmers, siblings, and we’ll even have some parent lanes!  Once we get confirmation from Prairie Lanes, we’ll add event details to the team page.

  2. Culver's Share Night   On November 20th from 5-8P we will be having a share night at the Culver's near SP West (50 Oxford Pl, Sun Prairie, WI 53590).
