No Practice Tonight

With Sun Prairie Schools cancelling all evening activities, we will have no practices at any pool tonight.

End of Dryland for Session

As we begin to make preparations for the championship season, we’re taking a break from our days at JJ’s Boxing.  We’ll have no dryland for the rest of the winter session.

Last Day of Practice

The last day of practice varies for just about every group: 

If your swimmer isn’t competing in Regionals or beyond, their last day is this Friday.

If your swimmer is competing at Regionals but won’t be at State, they’ll wrap up at the Regional meet.

If your swimmer is competing at a Championship meet after Regionals, they’ll go through that meet and be done.

If you’re a Masters Swimmers, your last day will be Friday, February 28^th.

Next Week Changes

Next week, Tuesday and Thursday will be different for our Hurricane & Cyclone groups as we consolidate pool time just a bit.  All other groups will have practice as scheduled.  Details of changes, are further down the newsletter.

Spring/Summer Session Plans

We’re up to 180 swimmers that have told us their spring/summer plans.  Thank you!  If you haven’t told us what your swimmer is doing, let us know what you’re thinking for the spring and summer sessions here.

Swimmer Move-Ups

We’ve already begun talking as a staff about move-ups for the spring session.  It’s one of the larger windows of change, and we’ll look at swimmers who are moving to another group due to age and those who move to another group for a different training experience.  We’ll be using the last few weeks of this season to figure out our last few swimmer placements (we’re down to a dozen left to figure out!).  We won’t start officially notifying families until we have the full picture complete so as not to create the “Sally’s mom heard something but we haven’t!” panic.
