First Week of Practice

I was remarking to Coach Erin who agreed---this is the *easiest* first week of practice I can ever remember.  I don’t know if it’s super-skilled kids, super-amazing coaches, a lack of rodents in pools, or what---but everyone seems to be finding their stride really quickly this season!  I hope you’re seeing it too--it’s made for a fun first week!

Practice Woes Tomorrow

We just got confirmation that Sun Prairie Schools are unable to staff both pools Thursday night.  That’ll mean that anyone at SP West will have to adjust.

Senior, Performance, Typhoon--you’re sentenced to AM practice only at SP West.
Hurricane, since you have dryland available tomorrow---you’re dryland only.  No in-water practice.
Cyclone & Tsunami will swim at SP East from 6:50-8:00P. 
Tropical Storm will remain unchanged at SP East at 4:20P.

 

Highway 19 Meet

Apparently, we’re not the only one with facility struggles.  DFAC, who was supposed to host the first meet of the season for us, didn’t get their facility rented.  Not sure what happened, but it looks like the official start of the season will be our home meet on October 4th (signup is now open!)

 

Simply Swimming Order Closes in 2 Hrs!

You have until 11:59 to make the big fall order through Simply Swimming.  You can always pop up at any time for swimsuits, goggles, things like that but the specialty stuff is done through one bulk order.  This includes the final call for custom caps for this year!

 

Elite Clothing Order

Elite Embroidery has their fall order up.  It’s got a lot of clothes, including a lovely blue hoodie (our official color for the year’s clothing).  Deadline for this order is September 30th.

Meet Signup

Signup is available for the first meet of the season, our home opener at SP West on October 4th.  I’ll start to plug in details for other meets already sanctioned starting tomorrow.  You’ll start to see deadlines and signup dates for each one populating on our meet schedule.  If you have questions about which meets you should and shouldn’t attend, don’t be afraid to reach out.
